10/29/2018-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 19 year old Gloria M. Weir of Mt. Carmel after police were notified of possibly drug activity in the 400 block of W. 3rd Street. Police located Weir and other subjects standing next to a parked vehicle. Police reported seeing narcotic equipment in the vehicle. It was reported that Weir took responsibility for the items. A further search was conducted and police located suspected methamphetamine. Weir was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, and illegal use of property in relationship to methamphetamine. Weir is being held pending the posting of $2,000 cash.
