WHERE: Jasper County 1300N at West St in Wheeler, IL
WHEN: 10/17/2018 3:23 P.M.
VEHICLES: Unit #1 Gray, 2017, Chrysler
DRIVER: Unit #1-Dawn Meinhart, 35, of Newton, IL
TRANSPORTS: Dawn Meinhart-Carle Foundation Hospital, Champaign, IL Via Air Evac
PRELIMINARY: Preliminary investigative details indicate, Unit 1 was eastbound on Jasper county road 1300N just west of West St in Wheeler. Unit 1 ran off the roadway to the south of CR1300N. Unit 1 continued to travel through private yards. Unit 1 struck a parked truck in a driveway and came to rest. The driver of Unit 1 was transported to Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, IL for treatment of her injuries.
