Kreigh Douglas Hollingsworth, 22

Kreigh Douglas Hollingsworth, 22, of Manchester Missouri, passed away on October 30, 2020 in Manchester. He was born on February 16, 1998 In Evansville, Indiana, the son of Jessica Judge and Vance Hollingsworth.

Kreigh was a 2016 graduate of Carmi White County High School and a former student of Wabash District 348. He attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville on a full academic scholarship. Kreigh was a gifted honor student and loved to read. He was musically talented and enjoyed playing the guitar, piano and saxophone. He was a member of the National Thespian Club and a professional judge for the Yu-Gi-Oh trading card games. Kreigh was a very kind hearted person. He loved a good joke and honestly earned the title “jokester” among his family and friends. He loved his family dearly and they cherished him likewise. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Kreigh leaves behind his mother, Jessica Judge; father, Vance and Stacey Hollingsworth; brother, Caleb Hollingsworth; maternal grandfather, Larry Judge; Paternal grandmother, Ruth Ann Hollingsworth; uncles and aunts, Joe and Missy Judge, Lee and Cindy Judge, Lorinda and Peter Ims, Vince and Sharon Hollingsworth, Trish Walton-Shamo; cousins, Alex, Tyler, Steven and Gabby Hollingsworth, Kristen and Lora Judge, Matthew Wollack; honorary grandparents, Wayne “Hoolie” and Linda Holloman.

Kreigh was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jim Hollingsworth; maternal grandmother, Arlene Judge; cousins, Amica Judge and Kristin Hollingsworth Wollack.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 7, 2020 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home. Social distancing practices will be in place. Following the Visitation, a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:00 p.m.

Betty “Kandel” Anderson, 70

Betty “Kandel” Anderson, 70, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at her residence.

She was born November 18, 1949, in Wabash County, Illinois, the daughter of Jack Anderson and Ruby Lee Batchelor. Betty was a homemaker, loved pets and was a member of the ASPCA.

Left to cherish Betty’s memory are her children, Jill Lynn, Timothy James Allen and Kerry D. (Luke) Greentree; grandchildren, Neal (Aubrey) Greentree, Tony Cerasi and Jon Cerasi and Jessica Jennings; great grandchildren, Harleah Greentree and Atreus Greentree, all that referred to Betty as “Nanoo;” and a brother, Earl Lee Anderson.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and a son Dwight (Sonny) Allen.

Per her wishes, Betty will be cremated and there will be no formal services.

Robert E. ( Bob ) Bethards, 90

Robert E. ( Bob ) Bethards, 90, passed away on October 28, 2020 with family by his side. He was born April 4, 1930 in Fond du Lac, WI to Robert and Sara Bethards. 

He grew up in Janesville, WI and graduated from Milton College in 1953. That same year he married Norma Lorraine Deets and moved to Milwaukee, WI where he began his 37 year career with the JC Penney Company. He was later transferred to Chicago, then Champaign, IL and finally to Mt. Carmel in 1965. Bob was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Ainad Temple of Shriners, BPOE 715 Elks, and was a 50 year member of the Rotary Club. He loved the City of Mt. Carmel and devoted much of his retirement to serving it as a member of the Wabash General Hospital Board, the Wabash Valley College Foundation Board, and the Mt. Carmel Police and Fire Commission. He particularly enjoyed the time spent with family and friends at their Mesa Lake house from 1973-1981. He was very proud of his three children and five grandchildren. 

Bob is survived by Norma, his wife of 67 years, Ann ( Randy ) Burgess, Robert E. Jr. ( Pam ) and Bill Bethards.  Grandchildren include Amy and Emily Zanetis, Elliot Sides ( Lindy ) Evan Bethards and Jesse Bethards. Great grandchildren include Nicholas and Addy Sides. 

According to Bob’s wishes, he will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorials can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Wabash General Hospital.

Richard P. Hargrave, 63

Richard Paul Hargrave, 63, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.  Rich was at home and surrounded by the love of his family.

He was born December 18, 1956, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, the son of Donald R. and Patricia A. (Kolb) Hargrave.  He graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1974.

Rich was soft spoken, kindhearted and a man of a few words.  He had a “giver’s heart” always taking care of others, most especially his wife Sara and his four-legged kids Daisy and George. 

Rich loved spending time with his family and friends.   His most cherished moment was marrying the love of his life Sara (Haggard).  Rich enjoyed the simple things in life…He enjoyed being at home, working and being outdoors.  Rich was an animal lover at heart, he kept treats in his truck to share with the strays that he met along the way.

Rich was able to do whatever was placed in front of him.  He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Tri-Kote Inc. from 1993 until the time of his death.  He was skilled at building location sites, rigging up rigs and operating heavy equipment.  He had a GOD given talent for operating a dozer (cat) in and around the oilfield.  Prior to working at Tri-Kote Inc., he owned and operated North Side Body Shop where his passion for fixing and restoring vehicles was obvious.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sara; children, Nicholas Hargrave and Tiffany Hargrave; his four legged kids, Daisy and George; siblings, Liz (Dave) Dunn and Russ Hargrave; father and mother-in-law, Don (Maralyn) Schuler; brother-in-law, Tim (Sonya) Schuler; sister-in-law Lori (Ed) Phillips; and many nieces and nephews.

Rich was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David and Michael Hargrave and four-legged kids, Harry, Heidi and Oscar.

There will be a drive-through visitation Saturday, October 31, 2020, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home, 527 N. Mulberry Street, (enter on 6th Street) with a graveside service immediately following at Highland Memorial Cemetery, 1827 College Drive, at 2:00 p.m.

Memorials can be made to Wabash County Shelter Buddies or Wabash Rally Against Cancer.  Envelopes will be available at the cemetery.

Linda S. Dorney, 59,

Linda S. Dorney, 59, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. 

She was born on June 3, 1961 in Port Washington Wisconsin, the daughter of Ezra D. and Irene M. (McDaniel) Dorney. 

Linda worked for many years as an over the road truck driver.  She greatly enjoyed driving across the country and the only two states she did not drive to were Alaska and Hawaii.   She liked being the lead pilot car driver for the trucks carrying heavy equipment.    Throughout all the time she spent over the road, she always made sure to keep in contact with her family.  Linda enjoyed being outdoors.  She had a deep faith and was at peace in her life.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.   

Linda will be fondly remembered by her parents; brother, Johnathon Dorney; sisters, Joan Dorney, Teresa Hermandez, Kathleen Ayres and Evelyn Dorney.

Angelika M. “Angie” Martin, 67

Angelika M. “Angie” Martin, 67, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at home. She was born on April 30,1953 in Reichenbach, Germany, the daughter of Franz Joseph and Elsa (Maile) Klinnert. She married Justin D. “Jay” Martin on June 7, 1983 and he preceded her in death.

While living in Germany, Angie was employed as a beautician. After moving to the United States, she took a position as a seamstress at Mt. Carmel Apparel and later at Pearison Inc. in Cynthiana, IN. Angie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting and gardening. She was a charitable person and enjoyed helping whenever she could. Angie loved her family dearly and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Angie leaves behind her sons, Steve Smith and wife Julie of Clarksville, TN, Jeff Smith and wife Carrie of Thompsonville, IL, Cody Martin and wife Kyla of RAF Lakenheath, England; grandchildren, Landon, Lane and Lucas Smith, Chayson, Alexander and Wyatt Smith, Kyle, Christopher, Katelyn and Kevin Martin; great-grandchildren, Brooke Brown and Emma Smith; brother, Udo Klinnert.

In addition to her husband Jay Martin, Angie was preceded in death by her parents.

Harry Alexander Manor, Jr., 82

Harry Alexander Manor, Jr., 82, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away October 24, 2020, at his residence.

He was born July 20, 1938, in Carlisle, Texas, the son of Harry A. and Geneva Campbell Manor, Jr. 

After graduating high school, Harry proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  When he returned home, he began a career as an electrician for Mt. Carmel Public Utility.  He was very proud of the work he did on the LST stationed in Evansville, IN as the head electrician for several years. In his spare time Harry enjoyed woodworking, building bird houses and fishing, usually off his dock at Mesa Lake. 

Harry is survived by his daughters, Tracy Manor Black and Denni Manor; granddaughter, Ashleigh Wright Shoulders; great-grandchildren, Lilyann Jane Shoulders and Liam Oliver Shoulders; and his life partner, Judy Chastine.

Preceding Harry in death were his parents, a sister and grandchild, Shane Lowey.

There will be a private funeral service.

Jimmy Dale “Jim” Ingram Sr., 76

Jimmy Dale “Jim” Ingram Sr., 76, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana with Eula Ingram by his side. He was born on September 30, 1944 in Wabash County, Illinois, the son of Lloyd and Leota (Van Winkle) Ingram.

Jim worked for the city of Mount Carmel for thirty-plus years before his retirement. He faithfully served his country in the United States Navy. Jim loved to spend time at his Wabash River camp. In his younger years, he would hunt mussel shells in the river. He enjoyed spending time with his family and often invited his whole family to join him for a hot dog roast. Jim enjoyed fishing and going for rides in the country to look for deer. Jim was of the Pentecostal faith, he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Jim leaves behind his three children, Jimmy Ingram Jr. and wife Rachael, Janie Parkhurst and husband Jamie and Timothy Ingram and wife Tracy; grandchildren, Kiesha Ingram, Shantel Reed, Zachary (Kaitlyn) Parkhurst, Tyler Parkhurst, Bethany (Tanner) Smith, Steven (Kayla) Hyatt, James Timothy “J.T.” Ingram, Hunter Dale Ingram, Stacie May Ingram; seven great grandchildren; brother, Charles (Debbie) Ingram; sisters, Sandy (Steve) Brown, Sue Taylor; special brother-in-law, Ralph (Kathy) Whitehouse; and several nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kevin Ingram; sisters, Pat LaConto and infant Mary Elisibeth Ingram.

James Edward Litherland, Jr 86

James Edward Litherland, Jr 86, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020.

He was born June 13, 1934 in Wabash County, Illinois, the son of James Edward and Opal (Johnson) Litherland.  On August 6, 1954, he married Donna Litherland in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. She passed away November 16, 2017 after sixty-three years of marriage.

Jim was an active in the Allendale and Mt. Carmel Communities, serving on the First National Bank of Allendale and Mt. Carmel Board of Directors for 40 years, and serving as Chairman of the Board from 1999 to 2012. Jim cherished his involvement with the bank and maintained contact with his bank associates after his retirement from the board. Jim was a lifelong member of the Elks, serving as Exalted Ruler from 1972 to 1973. He also served as Treasurer of the #377 Board for many years.

Jim’s occupation for nearly 70 years was with Allendale Gravel Company, founded by his father. Of course, Jim never retired from the company and was always willing to provide input, even on his last day on earth. His favorite activity was entertaining friends and associates in his Pinkstaff “Penthouse Suite” and watching the wheels turn on the empire he built.

In 1985, Jim began his endeavors in Lee and Charlotte Counties in Florida, where his sons caught the Sunshine Bug and remain today. Jim sold his business interests in 2005, but he continued to be involved in shell mining consulting for another 10 years.

Jim’s other love was aviation. He loved his Navion Rangemaster “Yellow Bird”, which is still at Mt Carmel Airport having been based there for 50 years. He made numerous trips to Florida and back and loved 99% of those flights. He was skilled at making the most of its performance, bringing awe to those that weren’t shaking their heads.

Jim cared deeply for those that worked with and for him, and rewarded loyalty with loyalty. Jim unselfishly and unknowingly gave to numerous worthy causes that assisted the underprivileged with loving Christian values.

Left to cherish Jim’s memory are his children: Steve Litherland and his wife Teresa of North Port, Florida, Kathy Jean Litherland of Harrisburg, Illinois, and, Jeffery Scott Litherland and his wife Sherrie of North Port, Florida; and three grandchildren Nicholas, Emily and Dylan Litherland all of North Port, Florida.  

James was preceded in death by his parents, wife Donna (Aldridge) Litherland and sisters Kathryn (Hughes Rigg) and Marge (Joe Schneider).

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2020, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Short Funeral Home.  Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. with burial in Highland Memorial Cemetery.  

Memorials can be made to Illinois Special Olympics or to the charity of your choice. One of Jim’s favorite charities was Victorious Children’s Home. Donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Karen Ruth Cochran, 74

Karen Ruth Cochran, 74, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital, Evansville, Indiana.

Karen was born March 26, 1946 in Herrin, Illinois, the daughter of John Edmond and Annetta Mabel (Whipkey) Cochran.

She was very active in the EUM Evangelical United Methodist Church in Mt. Carmel. She was a member of DAR Daughters of the American Revolution and was Home Extension Advisor for Wabash County for 6 years. She graduated Elverado High School of Elkville, IL and SIU-Carbondale. Karen owned and operated Karen’s Fabric for 15 years. She taught Home Economics at MCHS and also taught at Wabash Valley College and was a substitute teacher in District 348. She was a seamstress and quilter.

Karen is survived by brothers, Kenneth Cochran of Murphysboro, IL, Lynn (Judy) Cochran of St. Charles, MO; sister Patricia Simons of Morris, IL; eight nieces and nephews; nine grand nieces and nephews; and special friends Kathy and Ron Brand and their children Rebecca and Steven.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Joyce Cochran; brother-in-law Larry Simons.

At Karen’s request there will be no formal Service. She will be cremated with burial at Osage Cemetery in Franklin County, Illinois.

Gary D. Arnold Sr., 81

Gary D. Arnold Sr., 81, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, surrounded by the love of his family.  He was born on October 29, 1938 in Wabash County, Illinois, the son of Douglas and Viola (Hinderliter) Arnold. 

He married Mary Jo Struble on July 24, 1958 and together they have celebrated sixty-two years of marriage.  The two of them had a very close relationship, and were seldom seen one without the other.  

Gary faithfully served his country in the United States Army.  He was a valued member of the local Military Honor Guard, participating in many services for his fellow veterans.  He was instrumental in forming the new guard which is now called USAMV and helped to fund the new uniforms for the veterans to wear.  He also spearheaded the development of Veterans Park at 3rd and Market Streets in Mt. Carmel.  Gary and his family voluntarily organized the 4th of July parade for many years.  He greatly enjoyed this patriotic event and worked very hard to see that it was a success each year.  Gary was adamant in supporting and helping local businesses.  He was an added asset to the Jones family at Mt. Carmel Rural King during their customer appreciation days.    

Gary retired from Mt. Carmel Public Utility Company after forty-two years of service.  He was a 1957 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School, a member of the Fraternal Orders of the Elks, the Eagles and a lifetime member of the American Legion.   

Gary was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. In his spare time Gary enjoyed a good game of golf and was also an avid NASCAR fan.  His creative hobbies included painting rocks and making crosses. He enjoyed taking a ride around the countryside and working in his yard.  Gary and Mary Jo enjoyed traveling.  Their favorite places to visit were Pigeon Forge, TN and the Kentucky Lake area. 

Gary loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren “To the Moon and Back”.   He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and his family cherished his love and leadership.  He was a valued member of the community, was loved and respected by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.   

Gary leaves behind his loving wife, Mary Jo; daughter, Gerri Dodson and husband Steve; son, Gary Arnold Jr. and wife Sabrina; grandchildren, Ryan (Jen) Weir, Doug (Elanie) Arnold, Dustin (Krista) Hatton, Brant Arnold, Beth Anne Hatton and her special friend Amanda; great-grandchildren, Ty Craig, Jacie Arnold, Kyle Weir, Dylan Weir, Elcie Arnold and Ezra Hatton; sisters, Donna Sue Price and Audrey (Larry) Tice; several nieces and nephews. 

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Ronald Arnold.

James "Jimmy" Boyd Perkins II, 44

James "Jimmy" Boyd Perkins II, 44, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital.

Jimmy was born in Mt. Carmel, IL on November 7, 1975 to James and Linda Perkins. He graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1993 where he lettered all 4 years in wrestling. After high school he worked as a chef at Cork and Cleaver, Elliott's Steak House and the Red Geranium and was the lead singer for the band "Ted's Twisted Penny and also Needlewerk." Jimmy was gifted academically and graduated from Ivy Tech, with three degrees; mechanical, drafting and electrical engineering degrees. Jimmy's career was spent as a draftsman for Skanska, and most recently, America's Engineering. His pride and joy were his children and he cherished his time with them.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Torrie (Holder) Perkins; daughter, Lily Anne Rayne Perkins; son, James Boyd "T.J." Perkins III all of Evansville, IN; his parents, Linda (Neikirk) and James Boyd Perkins of Mt. Carmel, IL; sisters, Mickie (Dillard) Clem (Tony) of Owensville, IN, Jennifer (Perkins) Frank (Tony) of Louisville, KY; brother, Scott Dillard (Megan) of Mt. Carmel, IL; mother-in-law, Debbie Holder (Tim Hunter) of Evansville, IN; father-in-law, Roger Holder of Lynnville, IN; nieces and nephews, Joshua Williams, Kyle Williams, Tiffani Clem, Troycer Dillard, Triston Dillard, Mercedes Dillard, Madix Dillard, Cassandra Hayes, Don William Hayes III; maternal nieces and nephews, Alicia, Ryan, Sanita, Everett "Squishy", and Charlotte; brother-in-law, Justin Holder (Samantha); and a sister-in-law, Becky Alvey.

She was born on August 14, 1928 in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of William L. and Ruth E. (Brouillette) Trimble. Motsy married Gary Renck on June 27, 1959 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and together they enjoyed fifty-nine years of marriage until his passing on April 5, 2019.

Motsy was a member of the Allendale High School Class of 1946. During her working years, she was employed in the offices of Mt. Carmel Public Utility for a time and then was hired as Deputy Clerk in the Wabash County Circuit Clerk’s office. Motsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Her most favorite thing to do was spending the day shopping and could never pass up a good shoe store. She also enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. Motsy was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Daughter’s of Isabella for many years. She was loved and admired by many and will be dearly missed.

Motsy leaves behind two sons, Kelly (Tracy Schafer) Renck of Mount Carmel and Kevin Renck of Centralia, IL; two daughters, Michelle Motta and husband Mike of Evansville, IN and Melissa Mosby of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Alicia (Jim) Reeves, Kristen Kays (Rodney), Monica (Adam) Courter, Nolan (Katie) Renck, Mikayla Renck, Casey Mosby (Brad), Cydney (Eddie) Mosby, Paxton Mosby and Carley Mosby; great-grandchildren, Chase, Brady, Lyla, Makenzie, Rylee, Noah, Stella and Avalene; brother, Bradley (Vicki) Trimble; sisters, Ruth Towens, Wilma “Billie” Spray; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Motsy was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Armando Gutierrez, siblings, Bob Trimble, Carolyn Dougherty and Sister Mary Joyce Trimble.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Funeral Services will be private. Motsy will be laid to rest beside her husband, Gary Renck, at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Motsy’s memory to the Murray Parents Association and will be accepted at Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863. The Murray Center is where Motsy’s son, Kevin has lived for fifty years and has received excellent care.

Funeral Report-Richard L. Reed III

The funeral service for Richard L. Reed III was held Monday, October 12, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Short Funeral Home.  Pastor Ben Strode from the Christian Church of Olney conducted the service.  It included Prayer, Scripture, Eulogy and a Message.  “Watching You” by Rodney Atkins was played on CD to end the service.  The burial service immediately followed at Antioch Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Chris Reed, Dan Brummit, Dalton Pixley, Jordan Pixley, Coleton Seibert and Stephen Salaman. Funeral Services were held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2020 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home to honor the life of Vickie L. Bailey.  Pastor Gary Underwood conducted the service that included, Prayer, Reading of the Obituary, Funeral Message and Closing Prayer.  Scripture passages were taken from Psalm 23 and Pastor Gary read The Lord’s Prayer.  “Amazing Grace” was played at the beginning of the service. Richard L. “Dick” Reed, III, 28

Richard L. “Dick” Reed, III, 28, of Noble, Illinois passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.

He was born February 15, 1992 in Evansville, IN the son of Richard L. Reed and Cynthia K. Garner.

Richard married Ashton T. Pixley September 15, 2013 in Olney, Illinois.

He attended the Christian Church of Olney. He loved his children and enjoyed spending time with his family whenever he could. He loved playing guitar, fishing, skateboarding, and playing pool. He worked as a Bartender at Lucky Lady in Westport, Illinois.

Richard is survived by his wife Ashton; children, Bransyn Lee Reed, Lailyn Kae Reed, Teagyn Jean Reed and Karsyn Wayne Reed and Arrow all at home; parents, Richard and Shannon Reed and Cynthia (Garner) Frayser; brothers, Matt Baker of Mt. Carmel, Brandon Reed of Mt. Carmel and Christopher Reed of Lawrenceville; close family friend, Coleton Seibert; brothers-in-law Jordan Pixley and Dalton Pixley of Olney and sister-in-law Triston Mays of  Olney; mother-in-law Stacey Mays; father-in-law Chris Pixley; and maternal grandfather Gary Garner.

He was preceded in death by Smiley, sister Brittney and maternal grandmother Lois Garner.

Vickie L. Bailey, 66

Vickie L. Bailey, 66, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on January 20, 1954 in Princeton, Indiana, the daughter of Jim and Shirley (Hartley) Iglehart. She married James “Jim” Bailey on October 14, 1978 and they were planning to celebrate their forty-second anniversary in a few days.

Vickie was employed at Dairy Queen for thirty-two years. She always had a friendly face, worked hard and was a manager for many years. Vickie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved following her grandchildren in their sports and was their biggest cheerleader. She was an “Aces Wrestling Mom” and attended as many matches as possible. For many years she was a volunteer for the fundraising events for ECKCO. Vickie enjoyed playing bingo and was a caring friend to many. She and Jim enjoyed spending time together and would often take a ride down by the river. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Vickie will forever be remembered by her loving husband, Jim; children, Tim (Tracie) Guard, James (Kathy) Bailey Jr., David Daniel, J.J. Bailey, Mary (Jim) Taylor; grandchildren, Richie (Tatiana) Bobbitt, Chris (Angelica) Bobbitt, Sam Wampler, Emily Wampler, Ryan Webb, Drew Webb, Teagan Guard, Rylie Webb, Flynn Guard, Keller Guard, Kimberly Wilson, Kara Wilson, Erica Iglehart; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Rick (Kim) Iglehart, Terry (Therese) Iglehart, Gary (Anne) Iglehart; sister, Sandy Iglehart; and several loved nieces and nephews. Mitchell Jay “Mitch” Clore, 72

Mitchell Jay “Mitch” Clore, 72, of Bellmont, Illinois, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Deaconess Hospital Mid-Town in Evansville, Indiana surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on June 12, 1948 in Jackson, Michigan, the son of James and Kathleen (Austin) Clore. Mitch married Dorothy “Dolly” Tapsell on January 5, 1969 and together they enjoyed fifty-one years of marriage. Dolly preceded him on death on September 25, 2020. Mitch and Dolly loved each other so much and are reunited together again.

Mitch was a loving husband, father and grandfather who treasured the time he spent with family. He faithfully served his Country in the United States Army. Mitch loved being outdoors, camping with family, hunting, fishing and arrowhead hunting. He also enjoyed bowling with family and friends. Mitch enjoyed traveling with Dolly and always looked forward to family vacations. He was a devoted employee for Pacific Press and Shear where he began working in 1972 and just recently retired. During his working career, Mitch made many friendships. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.

Mitch will be remembered by his children, Tammy (Travis Hering) Warmack, Mary (Scott) Rayborn, Michelle (Doug) Isaac and Mitchell Clore; grandchildren, Brandon (CJ Simpson) Clore, Gage (Keirsten) Ellinghausen, Brice (Molly) Ellinghausen, Reece Isaac, Samantha Clore, Logan Rayborn, Evan Isaac, Wyatt Warmack, Mason Rayborn, Mahayla Clore, Brayden Rayborn, Jayce Clore and Jazmyne Clore; great grandchildren, Sophia Clore, Kaylyn Cropper, Emmett Ellinghausen, Kinley Ellinghausen, Torryn Simpson, Jax Ellinghausen; siblings, Marilyn (Ken) Cooper, Marsha (Pat) Clark, Melvin (Donna) Clore and Marshall (Judy) Clore; special friend, Jada Hutchings; sister in law, Molly (Don) Windmiller; many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
