The funeral service for Helen M. Seaton was held Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Home. Kyle Day conducted the service. He opened the service with scripture, prayer and obituary reading. Marcia Woodcock played “In the Garden” and prelude and postlude music. Kyle ended the service with a sermon and closing prayer. Burial services immediately followed at Highland Memorial Cemetery with Matt Seaton, Doug Seaton, Justin Houck, Jason Seaton, Phillip Glen and Aaron Sanders serving as pallbearers

FUNERAL REPORT-MONA G. FEARHEILEY

The Funeral Mass for Mona G. Fearheiley was held Saturday, December 23, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Fr. Robert Zwilling conducted mass, assisted by Deacons Charlie Speaks and Steve Lowe. Mona’s grandchildren draped the Pall over the casket. The First Reading, John 14:1-7 was read by Craig Newman. Hanna Fearheiley and Christian Hawkins presented the gifts. Lisa Underriner served as Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Mikayla Beck was Cantor with Donna Lowe playing keyboard. Songs played were “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” “Shepherd Me, O God,” “Here I Am, Lord,” “Ave Maria,” “On Eagles Wings,” “Precious Lord, Take My Hand,” “Let There Be Peace on Earth” and “Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee.” Eighth grade students, Maleah Armstrong, Isaac Kieffer and Gehrig Jones, aided as servers. The Committal service was held at Highland Memorial Cemetery with Sione Militoni, Matthew Militoni, Grant Fearheiley, Christian Hawkins, Bill Eaton and J Roy Dee III as pallbearers.

Helen M. Seaton

          Helen M. Seaton, 90, of Mt. Carmel, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at Oakview Heights Continuous Care and Rehab.

          She was born April 22, 1927, the daughter of Ogle and Elva Langley Hunt in St. Francisville, IL. She married Robert E. Seaton on August 16, 1944 in Henderson, KY. He preceded her in death in 2007.

          Helen and Bob were Charter Members of Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Mt. Carmel. She was the Manager of the local Good Will store and later worked at J. C. Penney store. She enjoyed spending time with family and especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

          Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Penny Jo (Richard) Keneipp of Mt. Carmel and son, Jimmy L. (Tressia) Seaton of Princeton, IN; grandchildren, Kelly Houck, Matthew (Jill) Seaton, Douglas (Stephanie) Seaton; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and sister Mary Jo Bolden of Mt. Carmel.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years, Bob Seaton; four brothers, Charles, Talmage, Herschel and Bob Hunt; and sister, Norma Jean Maddox.

         The Funeral Service for Helen will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Short Funeral Home in Mt. Carmel. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery.

Darwin K. Johnson

Darwin K. Johnson, 70, of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Wabash General Hospital. He was born on March 24, 1947 in Elgin, Illinois the son of Lawrence and Margaret (Shear) Johnson. Darwin married Karen (Green) Johnson and she preceded him in death on September 9, 2010.

Darwin faithfully served his country in the United States Army. He loved his family and enjoyed the time he spent with them especially his grandchildren. Darwin was a redi- mix truck driver for the Teamsters. Among his hobbies, Darwin loved riding motorcycles and fishing. He enjoyed his many friendships and greatly enjoyed talking with friends. Darwin was an avid collector of many things. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Darwin will be remembered by his two daughters, Shari (David) Easterday and Stacey (Michael) Stewart; grandchildren, Brian (Amber) Covalt, Chad (Ashley) Covalt, Brianna (Jerod Majors) Covalt, Devyn Stewart and Cole Stewart; six great grandchildren with one on the way; brothers, Calvin Johnson and Douglas Johnson; several nieces and nephews.

Darwin was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Karen Johnson; daughter, Kristen Johnson; great grandson, Aiden Covalt; and brother, Duewan Johnson.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery with Full Military Honors.

BOBBY GENE HORRALL

Bobby G. Horrall, 85, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017, at Oakview Heights.

He was born June 23, 1932, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, the son of Don and Bernadine (Vandever) Horrall. Bob graduated in 1950 from Mt. Carmel High School. Bob was a member of the Illinois National Guard. On March 17, 1951, Bob married Frances B. Woods in Mt. Carmel. Frances preceded him in death in 2016.

Bob was a member of Parkview Christian Church. He worked 39 years for Mt. Carmel Public Utility, retiring as Vice-President of Operations. He established Horrall Electric in the 1950’s. Bob was a charter member of the Civitans.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Larry Horrall and wife Connie of Mt. Carmel, and, Beverly Luker and her husband Glen of Albion, Illinois; grandchildren, Timothy (Stephanie) Luker, Stacey (Mason) Moore, Josh (Ashley) Horrall, Matthew and Tara Horrall, and, Ryan and Lauren Horrall; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn (Don) Macer of Mt. Carmel and Kathy Eggebrecht of Kissimmee, Florida; and a special friend, Virginia Ritchey.

Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, and sister, Betty Armstrong.

Visitation for Bob will be Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Short Funeral Home, 527 N. Mulberry Street, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with burial at Highland Memorial Cemetery.

Allen R. Harms

Allen R. Harms, 53, of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.  He was born on October 3, 1964 in Wabash County the son of Waldo “Pete” and Frances Earlene Harms.

Allen loved his children and grandchild.  Among Allen’s hobbies, he enjoyed to play guitar and ride his motorcycle.  He was a lifelong supporter of band Madman’s Diary.

Allen will be remembered by his father, Pete Harms; son, Randy Riggs of Kane, IL; two daughters, Erin (Roy) Adams and Samantha (Calum Rayborn) Harms both of Mount Carmel; one grandchild, Tobias Rayborn; brothers, Steve (Robin) Harms, Jimmie (Sherry) Dardeen, Jeff (Nikki) Dardeen and Lonnie Dardeen all  of Mount Carmel; sisters, Carlena (Dewayne) Brewer of Mount Carmel, Brenda (Don) Jones of Mount Carmel, Debbie (Tom) Griesemer of Plainfield, In, Jona (Tim) Clardy of Mount Carmel.  Allen will be missed by his family and all who knew him.

Allen was preceded in death by his mother, Earlene Harms; brother, Keith Harms and sister, Sandra Dooley.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Pentecostal Faith Assembly in Friendsville, IL.  A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Church.

Mona Lavonne Graves Fearheiley

Mona Lavonne Graves Fearheiley, 89, of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away on December 13th,  2017 at RiverOaks Health Center in Princeton, Indiana. 

Mona was born June 1, 1928, in Princeton, Indiana to Dr. Orville M. Graves, Sr. and Martha Pauline (Polly) Morton Graves.  On June 10, 1948. Mona married Robert C. (Bob) Fearheiley, who preceded her in death in February, 2008. 

Mona attended Lowell Elementary School and graduated from Princeton High School in 1946.  In high school, she was involved in many activities including student council officer and class president both her junior and senior years.  All four years Mona was a member of the marching band where she played the oboe and was a majorette. She won many state baton twirling tournaments and had the distinction of being the first female drum major for the Princeton High School Marching Band.  She continued her education at DePauw University, Greencastle, Indiana, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.  

Mona was an active member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church.  She served as President of the Saint Mary’s School Board in 1962 and helped to organize, develop, and implement the School's hot lunch program, the first of its kind at Saint Mary.  In addition, Mona served on the Parish Council during a major Church renovation in 1977-78.  She served as a coach for the newly organized Mount Carmel Girls’ Softball League which started in the 1960s.  Mona was an avid golfer and member of the Mount Carmel Women’s Golf Association.  She organized a Thursday Night Bridge Club with friends, who are still playing together 65 years later.   For a number of years, Mona could be heard announcing the MCHS football homecoming queen court and reading for the blind through the Wabash Valley Junior College, Radio Information Service.  Her legacy is that of a loving wife, caring mother, and someone who filled her home with good humor, laughter, and a place of happiness.  

Surviving Mona are three daughters, Molly Fearheiley (Barbara Caciolo), Saint Louis, Missouri, Nancy Fearheiley, Arlington, Virginia, and Amy Lindsay (Dustin), Evansville, Indiana; two sons, Kevin Fearheiley, Mount Carmel, and John Fearheiley (Julie), Mount Carmel, Illinois; eight grandchildren: Grant, Emily, Hannah, Abbey, Jenna, Peyton. Taylor Fearheiley and Ellie Marshall, two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.  Mona was blessed with wonderful friends in addition to exceptional caregivers.  Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers Dr. Orville M. Graves Jr., William Graves Sr. and two sisters, Daisy Bright Graves Peters and Charlotte Graves.  

Funeral services will held at 10: 00am on December 23rd, 2017 at Saint Mary’s Church in Mount Carmel.  Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday December 22nd, 2017 at Short Funeral Home in Mount Carmel Illinois.  A rosary will be said at 7:30 pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Mary’s School or the USAMV Mount Carmel Honor Guard.

Donald E. Grounds, 87

Donald E. Grounds, age 87 of Allendale, IL passed from this life to the next on Monday, December 11, 2017 with his family at his side.

Don was born on April 18, 1930 to Joseph L. and Mary Violet (Saltsgaver) Grounds.

He married Rebecca “Beth” Wolfe on December 20, 1951 and they enjoyed over 51 years together, until Beth’s passing on May 1, 2003.

Don proudly served his country and was a Veteran of the Korean War. During his military service he was stationed in Alaska. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Allendale and the Allendale Masonic Lodge #752.

He worked in the oilfield most of his life and was Production Superintendent for Wayne Smith Operator and later for Smith Drilling, both of Lawrenceville, IL.

Don thoroughly enjoyed fishing, gardening and hunting and was an avid mushroom hunter.

His two granddaughters Alyssa and Taylor brought much joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brothers: William, Joseph, Jr., Bobby and Jerry Grounds, and one sister, Kathryn Pierson.

Don is survived by his son, Randy (Ellen) Grounds of Allendale, IL, daughter, Becky (Ron) Smith of Evansville, IN and two granddaughters, Alyssa Grounds and Taylor Smith and brother Jack (Jill) of Allendale, IL. He is also survived by a special friend, Mary West of Allendale and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Donald E. Grounds will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 5PM to 7PM at Ingram Funeral Home in Allendale, with Masonic Rites at 7PM.

Funeral service will be held at 10AM on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the funeral home and burial will follow at the Allendale Cemetery, with full military rites.

Harry Hillis, Jr., 89

Harry Hillis, Jr., 89, of Olney, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017, at his residence, surrounded by his loving wife and children.  Harry was born on September 6, 1928, the son of Harry and Alma (Seymour) Hillis. 

Harry was married on January 20, 1951 to June Hamilton of Noble and they were married for 66 years at the time of his passing. Their lives were blessed with three children, Roger Hillis (and his wife Lisa) of Louisville, Kentucky, Sharon Harris (and her husband Mike) of Mt. Carmel, IL, and Annette Kramer (and her husband Rick) of Brighton, CO. In addition to his immediate family, Harry is survived by several sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Harry and June were also blessed with seven grandchildren, Laura Harris, Lindsey Kingery (her husband, Brian), Ben Kramer (his wife, Debbie), Lesley Hillis, Kristen Harris, Alex Kramer and Jeremy Hillis.  In addition, they have five great-grandchildren, Braden, Kinley, Beckham, Parker and Camden.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry J. Hillis, Sr. and Alma Seymour Hillis, as well as his siblings, Wilma Weber, Marie Hillis and James Hillis.

Harry is perhaps best known as the long-time editor of the Olney Daily Mail. He studied journalism at Eastern Illinois University and worked both in radio and print media for many years. He is a member of the Illinois Sports Hall of Fame as a sportswriter.

After their marriage, Harry and June moved to Baltimore where he served in the US Army in Intelligence Training during the Korean War. After his discharge, they moved to Mattoon where Harry worked at WLBH radio station and then moved to Olney where they have lived ever since.

After retiring from the newspaper, Harry went to work at the East Richland school district as treasurer. In addition, he worked for many years as the secretary of the East Richland school board and the first secretary for the Illinois Eastern Community College board. He was acknowledged as the longest serving board secretary in Illinois history.  Harry also served the community for many years as a volunteer fireman.

Probably his most important and long-lasting contribution to the Olney community lies in the fact that Harry served the Lord as a member of the Olney Church of Christ. He served many years as an elder of the church, also serving for a period of time as one of the deacons. He taught Bible classes, preached many sermons, and shepherded the people of God in that good church in a way that has and will continue to influence many people to serve the Lord as well. Many souls will be saved eternally in heaven because of his godly leadership.

On September 30, 2017, Harry was honored with the Tiger Alumni Center’s 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award. On October 17, 2017, he was flown to Washington, D.C. by the Honor Flight of Southern Indiana chapter (Flight EVV7) in honor of his service to the United States of America in the US Army during the Korean conflict. The family is so grateful that he received both of these honors during his lifetime, so that he might realize how many others loved and respected him.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with burial following in Haven Hill Memorial Garden. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.

The family would also like to thank Jessica, Krista and Ryan, along with the entire staff from Carle Richland Memorial Hospital, the rehab staff at Arch, all of the workers at Hospice, especially Cookie, Jennifer, McCartney and Ruth, private caregiver, Marilyn, and every doctor and nurse who helped care for our husband and father in his final days.

Joni Mains, 62

Joni Mains, 62, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, died peacefully Monday, December 4, 2017, surrounded by her family at Wabash General Hospital after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.

She was born October 25, 1955, in Princeton, Indiana, the daughter of James Thomas and Dorothy Mae (Brothers) Jackson. Joni was able to enjoy a variety of experiences and locations throughout her childhood before settling in Mt. Carmel in 1970. In 1975, she graduated from Mt. Carmel High School. On June 7th of 1975, Joni married Ronald Ray Mains at Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Carmel.

Joni was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was a florist at the family business, Mains Greenhouse and Flower Shop until her retirement. Joni spent her retirement enjoying family, solving puzzles and spending time with her dog, Molly.

Left to cherish Joni’s memory is her husband of 42 years, Ron; her daughter, Marisa Ruffner and her husband Jacob of Mason, Illinois; brothers, Paul (Debbie) Jackson of Waterford, Maine; Jerry (Benetta) Jackson, James (Rosa) Jackson and Mark Jackson all of Tucson, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Michelle Mains, and, a brother, Ricky Mercer.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Home, 527 N. Mulberry Street.

Lynn Ray Krauchi

Lynn Ray Krauchi, 69, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at home. He was born November 28, 1948 in Brazil, Indiana the son of George and Geraldine (Sutton) Krauchi.

Lynn served in the Air National Guard at Hulman Field in Terre Haute, Indiana where he was a member of the Reserve 181st Airborne. During his college years at Indiana State University, he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He was employed by Mount Carmel Stabilization Group as a truck driver. In his free time, Lynn enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the Hanging Rock Bass Club and cherished the many friendships he made there. He greatly enjoyed helping with the various activities the club sponsored. He looked forward to the fishing tournaments for the kids each year. Lynn will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Lynn will be remembered by his step-son, Brian Ellinghausen; sister, Jane (Jim) Gaston; step-grandchildren, Gage, Brice and Landis Ellinghausen; several nieces and nephews. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Report-Shirley Eileen Glenn

Funeral Services were held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home to honor the life of Shirley Eileen Glenn. Minister Fred Crane conducted the service that included opening prayer, reading of the obituary, message and a closing prayer. He read special memories the family had written and also read a poem written by Leslie Glenn, Shirley’s granddaughter. Music selection during the service included, “I Can Only Imagine” by Mercy Me, “I Hope you Dance” by LeAnn Womack and “My Angel” by Kelly Pickler. Burial took place at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton, Indiana where Shirley was laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Franklin Glenn. Pallbearers were Toni Vickers, Jason Seaton, Logan Racster, Mark Seaton, Wayne Hammel, Mike Seaton, Marty Tennes and Larry Hyatt. Honorary Pallbearers were Brad Seaton, Jim Seaton, Greg Seaton and Richard Seaton. Keepes Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Shirley Glenn.

Sharon Crow

Sharon Crow, 75, of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Linda E. White Hospice Center in Evansville, Indiana surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 3, 1942 in Robinson, Illinois daughter of Harry and Tressie (Finch) Wilson. Sharon married Robert “Bob” Crow on November 14, 1964 and they enjoyed fifty three years of marriage.

Sharon was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Sharon along with her husband owned and managed the Lantern Lounge for thirty five years. She was a very hard worker and enjoyed the many friendships she made at the tavern. Sharon was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School Class of 1960. She attended First Baptist Church in Mount Carmel. Sharon will be missed by her family and all who knew her.

Sharon will be remembered by her loving husband, Bob Crow of Mount Carmel; son, Rinnie (Roxie) Crow of Mount Carmel; grandchildren, Heather (Shane) Laird, Kimmy (Jonathon Stover) Reed, Annie Garner, Jordan (Devan Tibbs) Crow; great grandchildren, Bo and Gracie Laird and Westlyn Tibbs; sister, Betty (John) Liffick; sister- in-law, Donna Clevenger; along with several nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Patricia Phelps.

STEVE E. KNOWLES

Steve E. Knowles, 67, of Grayville, Illinois, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Linda E. White Hospice Facility in Evansville, Indiana.

He was born February 15, 1950, in Winslow, Indiana, the son of Edward Oscar and Ruth Rosalind (Hargrave) Knowles.  He married Phyllis Wilson in Harrisburg, Illinois.  She preceded him in death.

Steve was a tool and die maker and machinist.   

Left to cherish his memory is his father, Edward; children, Sherry Knowles and Steven Knowles; and siblings, Larry Knowles and his wife Lana of Mt. Carmel, and, Darlene Ankenbrand of Ball Ground, Georgia.

Preceding Steve in death was his mother, wife and brother Ed Knowles.

Shirley Eileen Glenn

Shirley Eileen Glenn, 75, of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana surrounded by the love of her family. She was born April 14, 1942 in Wabash County, Illinois the daughter of Elmer and Mina (McClane) Seaton. Shirley married Franklin Glenn on July 9, 1960 and he preceded her in death after fifty two years of marriage.

During Shirley’s early employment years, she worked as a switch board operator for GTE Phone Company. In the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, she managed the Maxi Boutique store in Mount Carmel. For the ten years prior to retiring, Shirley was employed at Walmart in the layaway department. Shirley dearly loved her family. Her Grandchildren and great-grandchildren could always bring a smile to her face. She greatly enjoyed quilting. She was a member of the local Homespun Quilters Club and looked forward each week to the visits from her special quilting friend, Diane Lommock. Shirley was a member of the Mount Carmel High School graduating class of 1960. She had a strong Christian Faith with Christmas being her most favorite time of year. Although she will be greatly missed, her family takes comfort in knowing she will be spending Christmas in Heaven from now on.

Shirley will be remembered by her sons, Kenny (Velvet) Glenn, Gary Glenn; grandchildren, Toni, Leslie, Phillip (Katie) and Chelsea Glenn; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Macy, and Maya Glenn; brother, Clayton Seaton; sister, Evelyn (Larry) Vickers.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant daughter, Karen Annette Glenn; sister, Oma Seaton; brothers, Robert, Nova, Leo and Cedric Seaton.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Minister Fred Crane officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton, Indiana.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.

Loyde Ray Sayge

          Loyde Sayge, 65, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois passed away on Thursday, November 23 at his residence surrounded by his family.

          He was born on Friday November 14, 1952 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, the son of Loyde Junior and Elsie Louise (Moutray) Sayge. He proudly served his country in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne division. He started welding in 1990 and was a pipe welder/fitter for 27 years.

          Loyde loved kayaking and fishing but spending time with his grandchildren was his greatest enjoyment.

          Left to cherish his memories are his children; four sons and two daughters, Georgia Rae Sayge, Jordan Loyde Sayge, Justin Lewis (Tasha) Sayge, Jared Lee (Andrea) Sayge, Ginger Laine Sayge and Garrett Lee Sayge; five grandchildren; Christian and Alyssa Sayge, Dathan Kelch, Shain and Hannah Weir. Also surviving are two sisters Sonja (Phil) Hall and Carmen (the late Butch) Littrell and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

          Preceding him in death are his parents.

          Loyde will have a memorial visitation on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Home at 527 N Mulberry Street.

Eugene “Gene” Isham

Eugene “Gene” Isham, 62, of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana surrounded by the love of his family. Gene was born on March 17, 1955 in Oliver Springs, Tennessee the son of Lloyd and Bonnie (Cagley) Isham.

Gene a member of the Laborers Local Union 561 and worked in road construction. He was a very hard worker. Gene was a true outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. His favorite times were spent on the river. Among Gene’s hobbies, he enjoyed working on cars and playing horseshoes. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.

Gene will be remembered by his wife, Sheila Isham; mother, Bonnie Isham; two sons, Ralston (Jennifer) Isham and Allen (Flisha) Isham of Mount Carmel; grandchildren, Rainey, Willow and Danny; four brothers, David Gaston, Robert Isham, Jack Isham and Eddie Isham; three sisters, Sue Flener, Jane Brines and Donna Merier; several nieces and nephews.

Gene was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Isham and sister, Kathy Isham.

In keeping with Gene’s wishes no formal services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

FUNERAL REPORT

A Mass of Christian Burial for Chris A. Seibert was held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November, 20, 2017 at Saint Mary Catholic Church. Father Robert Zwilling celebrated the Mass with Deacon Steve Lowe and Deacon Charlie Speaks assisting. The family was seated to the song “Go Rest High on That Mountain”. Opening hymn was “Here I Am Lord”. “Shepherd Me O God” was the Responsorial Psalm and “On Eagle’s Wings” was played during Communion. The Song of Farewell was “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” and at dismissal, “The Wings of a Dove” was played. Servers for the Mass were William Mayberry and Brayden Vaughan. Donna Lowe served as keyboardist with Mary Trimble as Cantor. Burial took place at Saint Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Keepes Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Chris A. Seibert.

FUNERAL REPORT-ALVEINA F. DILL

The funeral service for Alveina F. Dill was held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Gospel Kingdom Church. Brother John Peach conducted the service. It included Music, Prayer, Eulogy and Message. Recorded music included “Love Me” by Collin Raye, “Near You” by George Jones and Tammy Wynette, “Go Rest High on That Mountain” by Vince Gill, and “I Can Only Imagine” by Mercy Me. Congregational song “In the Garden” was played by Beverly Peach, keyboardist, who also played before and after the service. The burial service was conducted by Brother Peach at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were William Dill, Erica Dill, Winter Dill, Nathan Dill, Nick Lawrence and Josh Dill.
